Who am I?

What will you find here - when you join below!

When you join Christian Singles Connect, you join a unique online/in-person community of Christian singles who live & attend church near you! 

• What most defines us, in addition to our Christian faith, is that we are a place for both friendship & dating and our connections are group focused. About 70% of our members are hoping to meet someone to marry - but that is not what everyone is seek - and 'dating to marriage' relationships often starts best among a group of friends! So come meet friends here. :) Then think about dating, or not. :)
• We consider ourself 'online/in-person', because the purpose of the online community is to plan in-person events together and then easily follow-up with members afterwards.
• Members can host online events that help people to meet very easily. Often this first connection leads to people choosing to plan an in-person group event together - and invite others to join! 
• Uniquely Christian dating & relationship trainings by Rebekah Kerstetter based on what she has learned through this ministry. Watch a sample here: When to date? What about managing my career and dating? What about 'waiting on God's timing because the Lord provides'? What about sex/living together before marriage?
• The opportunity to make a difference! We just launched Feb 14, 2025 and some features are still being developed. Come help us serve and greet new members as they come in! When/if all of my contacts sign-up, in two years we may have 1000!

What is to come?

Our community is pretty special. We desire to be a significant resource and blessing to others in the Boston area. There is so much we can accomplish when we work together! Such as:

• **Sunday Brunch**: Where Christian singles from multiple different churches meet together monthly at local restaurants to get to know one another and pray for Boston. Come start one near your church!
• **Small Group Series**: In-person and online 5-week bible studies designed to get to know Christ and others on a deeper level.
• **Prayer Partner Program**: Offered for same-gendered friendships, either as pairs or in a small group setting to pray together 15 minutes a day or 30 minutes a week!
• Roommate postings!
• A group for volunteering in Boston together!
• "Visit new churches together group" for those still seeking a local church! Why visit churches alone when you can do it together! 
• And a Christian Singles Dating Certification Course (yes, seriously) that comes with a badge on your profile showing when you have completed the course. The purpose of this is to help create a common understanding of the values in the group and shared language to help us navigate dating well together. Though people are still welcome to vary in their dating styles and views, this badge will show two things: 1) Some evidence that a person is serious about pursing marriage and learning the skills they need to 'date well' and 2) a common language to help you navigate terms such as 'just friends,' 'being exclusive,' 'how/when to tell others at our church,' 'ideas for pacing physical affection carefully,' and 'tips for handling break-ups with minimal drama and maximum kindness' - and more! Not everyone seeks marriage. Some on this site prefer singleness. :) But for those interested in marriage, I want to help. :)
